Graduate Student Forum
Over the past few years LACS has become an intellectual reference point for graduate students in the many different fields and department that it integrates. Created four years ago, our Graduate Student Forum brings together graduate students from the departments of Anthropology, Art History, Economics, French and Italian, Music, Political Science, Sociology, Spanish and Portuguese, and Women's Studies, as well as the Graduate Institute of Liberal Arts, the Goizueta Business School and the Rollins School of Public Health. LACS also supports many academic activities for Ph.D. candidates including reading groups, informal "brown-bag" lunches, film screenings followed by discussions, graduate student only meetings with on-campus speakers, and dissertation chapter presentations and discussions.
